Geocache Description:

The co-ord are in the general vinicity, you will need to solve the
clues to find the main cache

'Hatherley loop' used to be the link between the Great Western
Railway and the Midland and South Western Junction Railway. The GWR
is still in operation, but the M&SWJR was taken up long ago,
but some of the trackbed still exists in parts of Cheltenham.

You will need to solve the following to find the cache site.

Question 1

There are three blue signs on the path, with the letters 'SV'
printed on them. What are the top 3 numbers? (ABC)

Info: This marks the point where the M&SWJR joined the GWR
heading south. Originally, there was an embankment and bridge
across the road. You can still see part of the cutting that lines
the road.

Question 2

Find the phone number 0800 (DEF) 441

Info: There was another high embankment and railway bridge here. Photo
The track run along toward the school opposite the electricity
substation and joined the GWR going north towards Cheltenham

Question 3

What is the number (GH) of this lamppost? You should be one the
same side of the road as the school.

Info: this is the point where the loop joined together and headed
east towards ‘Lansdown’ and ‘Charlton Kings’ stations and then
onwards to Cirencester & Swindon. The line of trees at the edge
of the school field marks the old trackbed.

Main cache: Located on part of the trackbed that has not been
built over.
