Since coming to Ukraine I've been planning to hide a few caches. This is the first, which I placed on the 3 month anniversary of my arrival in the city.
I decided to place my first hide in my neighbourhood. I pass by this spot on my way to catch the marshrutka I take to the office.
The cache was originally a small LockNLock type container, covered in black tape to help camouflage it, but after the tree died & was cut down it was replaced with a nano hanging in another tree nearby, about 5-6 feet up near the trunk. Please watch your step when leaving the sidewalk to go to the tree with the cache. I unfortunately found a sheathed needle once on the ground very near the cache location, and sometimes garbage can collect near the bases of trees.
