This lake is set in the middle of a pretty and popular
park and is at the head waters of Lake Seppings.
However it is only joined to Lake Seppings by a
narrow channel and has been landscaped to make
it a separate body of water. The park that has been
developed around the lake is called Eyre’s park after the
Explorer Edward John Eyre, who in 1841 became the
first person to reach Western Australia by land from
the east (Adelaide). so I suppose the Lake should
be called Lake Eyre, the other Lake Eyre. The cache
is a small camo with only room for a log book.
No swaps will fit and bring your own pen.
Enjoy the hunt and the park.
