Geocache Description:


One rainy Sunday afternoon we decided to take a ride around our town and find some of our favorite spots and place some caches. These caches aren’t difficult at all, but take you to some interesting places. Hope you like them.

This is without question the most popular destination in Oxford.

The speedway was established in 1950. This well known short track has been host to various races including the Oxford 250 and draws a huge crowd throughout the entire racing season.

This cache is just to give you an up close but not too close look at the track. Come during a race night and you’ll feel you are there even from a couple miles away.

Update as of May 2013, the original sign has been demolished so we've moved it off the road into a new location.

This is a nano, so you’ll need your own pen/pencil.
