10/10/10!! An interesting fact about October 2010: This Oct. has 5 Fridays,5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays! It happens once in 823 years
. First I got some very interesting facts. . The clock was invented at 10:10 so the time is kept 10:10. It was the time when America dropped bomb on Hiroshima. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at 10:10 so the time is set that way. Even JFK was shot at the same time.

1780 – The Great Hurricane of 1780 kills 20,000-30,000 in the Caribbean.
1845 – In Annapolis, Maryland, the Naval School (later renamed the United States Naval Academy) opens with 50 midshipmen students and seven professors.
1860 – The original cornerstone of the University of the South is laid in Sewanee, Tennessee. 186A – Carlos Céspedes issues the Grito de Yara from his plantation, La Demajagua, proclaiming Cuba's independence.

The event will start at 10am on 10/10/10. We will have fun, games and prizes and of course food. Each person needs to make and bring their favorite geocache container. No 55gal containers please. Bring your favorite food, snacks or drinks and tables. We will have grills set up for hot dogs or hamburgers. Be sure to bring your GPS and thinking caps to solve some 10:10:10 puzzles.
