Barb and I have looked at this park for a long time but could never come up with a good hide. Well, we think we finally have come up with something that everyone will enjoy.
This cache will bring you to a monument commemorating the men, women and children that gave their time and money to help celebrate the bicentennial of the United States of America. While here check out the nearby Tiki as well as all the inscribed names on the monument. Take some time and enjoy the park (Sidney Fischer Park). There is a $5.00 fee to get into the park but you can park just north of the coords for free. The park includes several pavilions, a playground for the kids, restrooms, outdoor showers and a beach access. The park is open from dawn to dusk but the cache is available 24/7.
Now about the cache: You are looking for a small container that contains a log and enough room for a small geocoin or trinket. There is no room for a pen so be sure to bring your own.
FTF Prize is a brand new unactivated Space Shuttle coin that we just got in at the store representing the Space Coast Geocachers.

Please do not destroy any vegetation while searching for this cache.
We hope you enjoy this cache.
