On March 21st, 1985, Rick Hansen left Vancouver to start the Man
In Motion World Tour. Rick had been paralysed from the waist down
and had been in a wheelchair since he was 16 years old. Over the
next two years, Rick travelled in his chair over 40,000kms, through
34 countries, trying to raise awareness of spinal cord
injuries.
On May 22nd, 1987, Rick retuned home to Vancouver. However, he
first had to conquer what was one of the most difficult portions of
his journey.
To find this cache, you will need to recreate one of the most
famous and difficult portions of Rick's Man In Motion Tour. Start
at the posted co-ordinates, which will bring you to the bottom of
Moray St and the Thermal Drive hill. From here, you will need to
travel up the hill, gathering information both during your walk as
well as at the various waypoints listed below to find the
co-ordinates for the final cache location.

A = Y/Z
Y = The speed limit posted multiple times on the way up the
hill.
Z = The number of stop signs you would need to stop at going up the
hill.
B = The first digit of the 7 digit code on Survey Disk #2.
C = The last digit of the year Rick completed his anniversary tour
on Sign #1.
D = The last digit of the 7 digit code on Survey Disk #2.
E = The sum of the 2 digits of the day that Rick passed Sign
#2.
F = The sum of the last 3 digits of the 7 digit code on Survey Disk
#1.
G = The house number of the white and yellow house, with brown trim
on the east side of the road at Waypoint #5.
This cache was intended to be
completed using human conveyance. While it is possible to complete
this cache using a vehicle, it is not recommended, nor is it in the
spirit of the cache.
