We Still Love Lake Township
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a 3 stage multi-cache that will take you to 3 of our favorite haunts in the neighborhood.
This cache is NOT about finding a treasure trove of trinkets, but absolutely about the areas you'll visit. You will probably need to drive between stages, though it would also make a most enjoyable kayak or canoe adventure, or you could go by bike. However you travel, we PROMISE it will be worth the trip! The first 2 stages are within the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and require a permit. The final stage is in the Lake Township Park, which also requires a parking fee, or there is adjacent National Lakeshore parking. This can be a VERY busy area in mid-summer, so use stealth in your hunt. This is a micro cache, so bring your own pencil.
Stage 1: At the first stage you will find a sign describing the area and some of the many various activities available. On that sign, you will find the information needed to complete the coordinates for Stage 2. Also, available at the first stage are new handicap accessibility to a fishing dock and a handicap kayak launch.
