Geocache Description:

Our first cache is dedicated to Lucy, our 1-year old Jack Russel, who gets the family outdoors more often to enjoy nice walks in the beautiful surroundings we so easily take for granted.

The cache is on a short section of the "De Hel" trail near Alphen, which can be done as a quick 25min circular walk. Coming down from Constantia Nek towards Constantia Village, park at S 34° 00.630' E 018° 24.768'.
At the signpost near the entrance, take a left and follow the path all the way around. After about 10min, turn right at S34° 00.534' E018° 24.958', which marks a second path going downwards into "De Hel". Follow this path for ±5min along the stream.
Due to tree cover, the reception can be pretty bad, so you might have to search a little!

The cache is hidden at the foot of a tree ±10m up the embankment to the right of the path.

After finding the cache, continue further down the path, over the footbridge, and to the right towards your car, or enjoy a picnic in a peaceful spot next to the stream.
