The Clarke Gang: As the physical cache has been removed and i have had a few complaints about the location i feel that 10years and 550 visitors is a pretty good run. Thanks to all that visited i enjoyed reading your posts as much as you enjoyed your visit.

The cache is easily accessible and located behind the memorial, roadside parking is available within a very short walking distance.
Charleyong Memorial
Dams were all the rage in the 1960s when the Snowy Mountains Authority proposed construction of the Welcome Reef Dam on the Upper Shoalhaven River, just below Braidwood. Experts said the extra water would be needed by the 1990s to meet the demands of Sydney’s growing population.
The Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) procured over 31,000 hectares of land in the area of the proposed reservoir. This area of land included the old Charleyong cemetery.
“In 2002 the SCA agreed to fund the memorial if a suitable site could be found and in 2007 Palerang Council agreed to the Braidwood Cemetery site.” – Braidwood Times 22/01/2009
The memorial includes plaques with burial and historical information, and is situated on a slight rise.
The cache is a 2.0Ltr Sistema Container and there is a "Certified Geocoin Addict pin" as a FTF prize as well as a few swaps for the Geokids.
