The Cache is a large ammo can
From my understanding, a wealthy congressman from South Carolina attempted to create a Fantasy Harbor Resort in this location in the early 70's. Well, he didn't submit the correct, or any, paperwork to the state and they shut him down half way through his process. Anyway, they dredged out 8 fingerlike canals and a huge lagoon and placed all the sand in a large mound "Sandy Island". Come check it out yourself.
