Geocache Description:

This is the first "Cache to Eagle" geocache in the Trapper Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The hint contains the combination to the cache container padlock.

This cache is located on private property within sight of the "Dirty Double Cross". But the property Owner is gracious and doesn't mind visitors of any kind -- including you.

PLEASE PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION HERE! You will probably have a GPSr with you so just watch the coordinates readout as you roll down the road AND ENTER THE PROPERTY AT 41° 01.298 / W 111° 54.357. Drive right in. Hundreds and hundreds of people do every single week. Many of them for the very first time. It's OK for you too. Don't worry if there's other people around (they're usually are). You can park within inches of the cache. If you are hiking a significant distance or are about to walk through residential property, YOU ARE SERIOUSLY OFF-ROUTE. STOP. Go to the entrance coordinates above and drive your car or ride your horse right on in.

Cache to Eagle geocaches are placed in locations where there is a high-quality Eagle Scout Project. Both geocachers and Eagle Scout candidates can find these caches. The geocachers get a "find," Eagle Scout candidates get to inspect a high-quality Eagle Scout project to give them ideas for their own projects.

In this case there are nine additional Eagle Scout projects on the property, most of which required a cement truck to back in to pour sidewalks, patios, foundations, etc.

So, go to the cache location. Inside the cache container you will find the additional information about the various Eagle Scout projects.

Not incidentally, the cache location is also the site of a 75-year Time Capsule, so be sure to come back in 2083 when it's opened.
