Clonamery Church, County Kilkenny.
This ancient church is associated with St.Brendan, as an earlier monastery dedicated to him was sited here.
It has two main sections - the nave, for the worshippers and the chancel, where the altar stood. The west end of the church may have been built around the 10th century. It has a fine lintelled doorway with a maltese cross carved above it.
Also of interest on site is an early christian pillar stone with carved crosses.
In order to obtain the final co-ordinates you will need to make a simple calculation. You should be facing the gable of the building. How many windows are there in this gable wall? Call your answer A. Incorporate this into the following to give you the final numbers:
N52 27.(330 x A) + A - 2
W7 01.(220 x A) + (A x A) + 1
The cache is a small round camouflaged tupperware box.
