Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in tribute to Max Reid and his years of work in creating one of the worlds greatest trail systems.

The cache is absolutely stock full of great stuff... we would like to keep it that way so be sure to trade fairly. Getting to this cache is very easy, and it makes a quick grab just off of the interstate. You'll want to exit as if you were going to the Freemont Indian State Park, and let the coordinates guide you from there. The trail head is located within' the State Park boundaries, our thanks to those who run this park and their support of Geocaching. Please be considerate and follow any posted guidelines while visiting the park and in search of this cache. This trail is the 01 trail of the Paiute Trail System. It was recently dedicated to the man whom has spent the better part of his career creating and maintaining this trail system. Max Reid spent nearly 20 years working for the Fishlake National Forest as the Branch Director over recreation. Upon his retirement in 2009, the 01 trail was renamed the Max Reid Trail to honor the years of dedication and service he provided in offering off road enthusiast a large quantity and quality trail system to enjoy. As you locate this cache, please do your best to respect the trail and it's name sake by replacing the cache in a similar format... also we would ask that you leave no trace behind, please pick up your trash and avoid muggles that might disrupt this awesome sport.

Enjoy
