This cache is hidden at a location within Hazelbank Park which has a great view of the Belfast Lough. There is parking nearby and the cache is a short walk from here. The terrain is easy, and there is wheelchair access to the area where the cache is hidden. The cache location is not visible from the car park, but the area is often busy in the summer and some stealth may be needed to retrieve the cache unobserved.
You are looking for an ammo can containing a log, lots of swag and a "pass-it-on" FTF coin. Please re-hide the cache out of sight of muggles - you may like to hide it further from the path depending on the condition of the surrounding vegetation. There is likely to be some rubbish at the cache site, which adds to the camouflage, I suppose!
We have lived beside Belfast Lough for most of our lives, and we think this is one of the best places to view it in all its splendour. From here you can see all the way to Carrick and Whitehead to the west, all the way to Belfast in the east and all of the way along the County Down coast to the south. On a good day you can even see the Mournes!
