Geocache Description:

On the Black and white trail on the way to the top of Schunemunk Mountain in Orange County New York

Here's a place to stop and catch your breath on your way up the mountain toward Take a Break and Gigantor- the Mega Cache. The trail is steep and rocky but once you are up here the views are worth the work. You'll be at around the twelve hundred foot elevation at this stop with a lot more climbing to do before you reach the ridge. You can make this the third stop on a 9 3/4 mile sixteen cache through hike if you are so inclined. Make sure your wear good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water and food to sustain you on this strenuous hike. A walking stick is a good idea too. Your looking for a paintball tube that is mostly hidden from sight. The NY/NJ Trail Conference map number 114 will come in very useful in this area. I have supplied a picture of the cache area.
