Sheridans: Cache has been muggled today by the maintenance team who came to clean and repair the fountain. Now that the water runs again the logbook cannot survive, and also it's fair to say that this small place can no longer cope with the significant increase in the number of visiting geocachers. Regrettably it is time for the archive.
Cache a été muggled aujourd'hui par l'équipe de maintenance qui sont venus pour nettoyer et réparer la fontaine. Maintenant que l'eau coule à nouveau le logbook ne peut pas survivre, et aussi qu'il est juste de dire que cette petite place ne peut plus tolérer l'augmentation significative du nombre de géocacheurs. Malheureusement, il est temps de l'archive.

An easy stroll in the old town beneath the ramparts of La Cite de Carcassonne. Discover one of the hidden gems of this
most beautiful city.
Un balade facile dans cette belle ville sous les remparts de La Cite de Carcassonne. Decouvrir un petit endroit jolie et paisible, un vraie classique de la Sud de France.

This cache will bring you to the old town of Carcassonne, “La Trivala”, centre of Occitan revival, and a place of great beauty. Here you’ll be delighted to discover just one of the hidden gems of this most beautiful city. Rest awhile and enjoy the shade and tranquillity of this charming location.
From here you may visit the World Heritage listed site of “La Cite de Carcassonne” (400m) with it’s Chateau Comtal, Basilique St. Nazaire, and of course, an amazing 52 towers around the ramparts from where you’ll enjoy spectacular views. Crossing the river Aude via the Pont Vieux, visit also the Bastide St. Louis with it’s shops, café’s, and beautiful 18th century architecture. A 15 minute walk from this cache will also bring you to the Port Plaisance on the Canal du Midi, Carcassonne’s 2nd World Heritage Site.

As you approach the final coordinates for this cache say “Hello” to the cheeky fellow in the middle. You are looking for a "nano" cache (smaller than a micro). It is NOT hidden on private property.
NOTE: The residents in the square are reporting a number of cacheurs who have climbed on, or asked for entrance to their houses, or have asked for the cache location. If this continues I will be obliged to close down this cache.

De ici vous pourriez visiter la site World Héritage de “La Cité de Carcassonne” (400m) avec son Chateau Comtal, la Basilique St. Nazaire, et bien sur, 52 tours depuis l’on peut voir un vue fantastique. En traversant la fleuve par le Pont Vieux, vous pourriez visiter aussi la Bastide St, Louis avec ses boutiques, café’s, et un patrimoine superbe. 15 minutes à pied et vous êtes au Port Plaisance sur le Canal du Midi, 2ème site World Héritage.

En vous approchant les derniere coordonees pour cette cache arretez vous pour dire “Bonjour” au petit coquin au milieu de cette endroit. Vous cherchez une cache "nano" - plus petit d'un "micro"! Elle n'est pas cache sur propriete privee.
NOTE: Les residents de cette placette plainte d'un certain nombre de cacheurs qui ont monté sur, ou demandé pour l'entrée de leurs maisons, ou qui ont demandé l'emplacement du cache. Si cela continue je serai obligé de fermer cette cache.
