The windmill of Campiglia
Built probably around the years 600 AD this mill was one of many in the region of La Spezia. Today there are still three, as the building preserved. The windmill is located in the trail between Riomaggiore and Portovenere. This part of the trail is considered as one of the most beautiful parts of the Cinque Terre. There are wonderfull views and a varied nature. Please bring your own pen with. Erbaut wahrscheinlich um das Jahr 600 n.Ch., urkundlich erwähnt im Jahre 1175 , war diese Mühle eine von vielen in der Gegend von La Spezia. Heute gibt es davon noch drei, die als Gebäude erhalten sind. Die Windmühle befindet sich beim Wanderweg zwischen Riomaggiore und Portovenere. Dieser Teil der Strecke gilt als einer der schönsten Abschnitte in der Cinqueterre. Es gibt grandiose Aussichten und eine abwechslungsreiche Natur. Bitte bring einen Stift mit.
