Geocache Description:

A nice cache with a walk along the river.

This is a cache that can be combined with Gorebridge Glen cache and it takes you to the Kings Cave area near Gorebridge.

Gore Glen Woodland Park in Midlothian is a rehabilitated coal site, which has a system of waymarked paths. The park is predominantly woodland in character having been planted in 1979 with a range of species to enhance the natural setting. Gore Glen is managed and patrolled by Midlothian Ranger Service.

A nice walk for both children and dogs. Can get a little muddy in wet weather.

The start point is Trotters Bridge (N55 50.780 W003 04.206) which has a small parking area.

Can be a popular spot so watch out for mugglers!
