One of 5 caches along a back roads route between Bathurst and Orange (includes about 10 km of dirt road).
With other caches already in place either end and on alternate routes between the two towns this gives scope for a geocaching outing.
When you sign the log you are asked to draw an Australian bird and name it. Also to name the bird when you log the find - try not to duplicate birds.
Cache contains log, pen and small swaps. There are also coloured pencils and a sharpener for drawing your bird. If you bring a small picture of a bird please BYO glue. I have started off with a pink and grey galah.
You can park safely on the Bathurst side of the cache.
I had to move the cache slightly. Parking is now on the Orange side. New Coordinates are:
