Geocache Description:

This micro is located at the Cobbler's Brook Greenway.

What is a "greenway" you might ask. The term greenway is derived from two words commonly used in landscape architecture: greenbelt and parkway. It is usually a corridor of undeveloped land along a waterway or between urban centers that is reserved for recreational use or environmental preservation. These ribbons of open space are commonly linear and may be natural or manmade such as abandoned railroad beds. As vegetated buffers they protect natural habitats, improve water quality and reduce the impacts of flooding. A route which is good environmentally for people, animals, air, water and plants is a greenway.

The Cobbler's Brook Greenway plays a small part in protecting much more than just a small town stream, it protects the Merrimack River watershed and that protects us all.

Please be careful when returning the container and leave it as you found it for the next cacher.

Congratulations to dtdn for FTF!
