A cache to celebrate the grand opening of the new Savannah Trail
The new Savannah Trail is 2.8 miles long and winds through beautiful grasslands near the western edge of the Coyote Lake / Harvey Bear County Park.
This cache was placed on Earth Day 2009 when the trail was officially opened. Volunteers came out and did the final touches to the bridge and its approaches. When we left the trail was official complete!
Cache is an ammo can. Initial contents were rubber duckies and some fun pencils.
