Geocache Description:

A long time family gathering place

This cemetery has been the central burial ground for a number of local families for well over a century. Cemetery days in Texas once brought hundreds to gather at this hillside graveyard to conduct the annual meeting and celebrate with family reunions for everyone in the area. Now, the family reunions are more for the deceased than the living and only a few remain that remember it in its former glory. Still its a nice patch of terra firma that will one day serve as our present family's final resting place. Until then, please take a moment to remember those that have gone before, especially those that gave their service to our country. Please be respectful of the residents and check carefully before caching in for residents that may not yet have expired. The cache is a medium sized plastic box with a small prize for the FTF. Congratulations to the Ocrazys for the FTF!!!
