Geocache Description:

35mm film container. BYOP.

I drove by this on the way up to the Selby Campground and thought it looked pretty interesting. So on the way back I decided to plant a cache. The first challenge I had was getting over the electric fence. That wasn't too hard. Next I jumped up on the platform where another tank appears to have once existed. I walked over to the east tank, past the old engine/vehicle, and then jumped down off the platform to walk between the east tank and the retaining wall. RATTLE! RATTLE! RATTLE! I instantly started high stepping straight on out of there as a rattlesnake was down underneath the tank and he didn't like me walking through there. I about died. Once I realized I wasn't bitten, I looked back to see if I could see this son of a gun. I even got on my hands and knees and kind of slowly inched back that way taking a look. I think we scared each other and he retreated. I never did see him. While cautiously looking for a place to hide the cache, I found another surprise. Inside the support wire pipe on the west tank were some baby birds. I snapped a few pictures and if you find this cache soon and have a flashlight, you might see them. I eventually found a good spot for the cache right above where the rattlesnake and I had our encounter. And that gave me a good name for this cache. Enjoy, but tread carefully!
