While walking along this area we stumbled upon this unusual phenomenon, the area has a nice view of MT Hood and the slough, so you will see some wild life, the coyotes forrage for food out here, if you look around you will see where thay have been diggin for moles and there are some phat ones out here... Now back to the Whispering Wind while standing in this location on a day that the air traffic is approaching from the east and landing towards the west, if you have the time, and it is well worth it, wait around for a large jet plane to land, they will fly right over you at this location, about 7 to 11 seconds after they pass you will hear the Whispering Wind whirl by, it is quite an interesting ordeal but we hung around here for about 45 minutes listening to the Whispering Wind of about 7 to 8 passing planes and each with its own personal Whispering Wind.....Hope you Enjoy and hear this interesting effect it is quite cool...
