Wapley is a small village on the southern fringes of Yate, near Bristol.
St. Peter's consists of a nave, chancel, south chancel chapel, south tower, and south porch. The 13th Century tower is of four stages with embattled parapet, crocketed pinnacles, and the West stair-turret roof rising from a small embattled cornice. There are bell-openings with tracery filled in with pierced stonework. The nave has a wagon roof. The south porch has a 15th Century entrance. The font is an octagonal bowl carved with quatrefoils.
