The location is the Allegheny Highlands Trail from Elkins to Hendricks, West Virginia, a 25 mile rail-trail following the route of the old West Virginia Central & Pittsburgh line. This is the Highland Park to Gilman section, the first of six sections containing traditional caches. The trail is level, paved in some sections with shell and gravel in others. A map of the entire trail is available at: www.highlandstrail.org
This is the third traditional cache in the Highland Park to Gilman section. The entire cache route is designed for geocachers with bicycles as many of the caches are located more than a mile from trail entry points. Happy Hunting!
