Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Located in a little marina/park in Newport News, this cache is well hidden and off the beaten path. You will have to walk to this cache to get to it. Park is open from sunrise to sunset. BEWARE as the four evils of Geocaching are here: poison ivy, thorns, ticks, and possibly muggles.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to locate an ammo box in this marina park and sign the log. Of course you'll have to gather some information along the way. Go to where the cache coordinates take you and look for the answers to the puzzle below. Be careful accessing the cache as the path isn't really a path and there is a lot of stuff around.
The final coordinates are:
N 37 04.ABC
W 076 31.DEF
Looking at and over the water you should see two objects with writing on them. These two objects contain the information you need to complete your mission.
A - The marina across the water... What's the last number in their phone number?
B - The channel marker in the water... zero divided by the # letters on the sign.
C - That same channel marker... How many vowels are inside the circle?
D - How many letters, total, are there inside the circle?
E - What's the first number on the channel marker?
F - A, again.
