Summer there is low brush and uneven ground, cache is at eye level. Winter the best way to get to the cache is by snowmobiling from PHS on the tradition trail to a place coined by David as Chill Hill.
The David Burden Memory Cache is a way for the Port Hope Simpson JCR to honour the memory of a dear friend. David was the SGT for the patrol for 3 years, in addition the the Memory Cache an award each year is presented to the top JCR voted on by the entire patrol. Each year the PHS patrol will navigate to the site via GPS and conduct several training activities. This exercise will give the JCR's an opportunity to review new entries in the Memory Log and add new memories/messages.
