Cache is a small square tab lock box with a log book and a couple of small swaps. The cache is completely wheelchair friendly.
The cache is placed near to the duck pond at the Valley Park. It's a great place to bring the children, but remember that the natives will need feeding so don't come empty handed!! Ducks, geese, swans, gulls and coots are the ones we spotted on a beautiful spring evening when placing this cache. Plenty of viewing platforms from which to watch and feed the wildlife. Also plenty of birds singing in the trees.
The park is well worth walking the complete circuit of about 1 and 3/4 miles as there is plenty to keep the kids happy and a play park about half way round the Highway to Health and also another cache "The Valley" GC1Q9MC, which we have paced here too.
Co-ordinates for the entrance to the car park at the Valley Leisure Centre are N54* 39.810 W005* 55.853 and the entrance to the park are N54* 39.742 W005* 55.882. The walk from the entrance of the park is only about 200 metres.
Please make sure to replace the cache carefully to keep it hidden and watch out for muggles as this is a popular place.
