This cache looks over an area of Snohomish that flooded in 2009. The trail is up on high ground, but you can clearly see the houses down below. In 2009 these house were nearly underwater. Many of the residents say this is the highest the water has ever been.
Park nearby and walk up the Centennial trail, however, the cache DOES require you to leave the trail and brave some of the thorny parts of the great northwest. Right now the bushes are mowed, but at other times of the year, they may grow back. Please wear proper footwear!
