A find in the lovely town of Hoi An
Hoi An is about the nicest place you can visit in Vietnam. Good hotels, good restaurants, good food and good bargains.
As a tour guide I find it is a great place for me, as my charges get to wander around and I get to relax. I have found that the small park where I placed this cache is a good place to relax as hardly anyone ever goes to it. If you ever see any Westerners in it at all, odds are on that they will be tour guides like myself relaxing or catching up on our tour itineraries and paper work.
Locals on the other hand use the park for a little fraternisation.
The cache is located behind the statue in a small unlocked power box. It is attached to the underside of the top of the power box, well away from wires, but make sure you look at what you are doing, there has been spiders in there too. See the attached photo. It is a film canister with a log page attached with a magnet. Please be sure to place it far enough back that it will not be noticed by anyone casually opening the box.
The park is usually deserted, but please use discretion.
