June 13th beginning @ 10:00 am til 2:00 pm

All cachers welcome! Come join us at the first Canon City Poker Run Event. The Event will take place at Mountain View Community Church at 200 Justice Center Rd. We would like to have a potluck after the poker run.


Check in for the Poker Run will begin at 10:00 am. There will be five (5) location where you will be picking up cards to make your hand.The top three (3) hands will receive a prize. Only one prize per caching name or team. We will use standard poker rules to rank the hands. There will be rules posted and handed out at the base along with the ranking of hands.


After the poker run the potluck will begin. When logging that you are going to attend please indicate what you are bringing. This will help so everyone will not be bringing the same thing. There is a huge hall with a full kitchen, for those that might need to heat up your dish.

There will also be drawings for prizes. All money collected for the drawing will be used first to pay for the event and any left over money will be donated to Geocaching Colorado.

There are five (5) containers. Each container holds a standard 52 card deck. a single card is placed in an envelope. The containers are placed around Canon City. You will need to pick one envelope from each container. Rules will follow before you head out to get your cards.
