Geocache Description:

A 35mm cable tied to a piece of wood in the hedgerow

The cache is just by York's first open-air gym. This free facility was set up on Wigginton's Church Fields in April 2009. £10, 000 was secured by the Church Fields Public Open Space Committee from the "Awards For All Money" funded by the National Lottery to set up this scheme.

There are four pieces of equipment (a surfer, a leg press, a chest press and a space walker) that uses hydrolics and the person's body weight to promote fitness.

Each piece comes with instructions and suggestions for different levels of fitness workouts.

The play area is off limits to dogs but there is a very large area next to the enclosure where the dogs can run around like dogs.

A few bits and bobs in the cache including a FTF button badge.
