South of Playa de los Cristianos there is a small mountain called Montãna de Guaza. I was surprised to find that no one has placed a cache on this mountain. I’ve been there several times to enjoy the spectacular view. You can see all the way from Playa de los Cristianos/ las Americas in the North to the airport in the South.
It is a steep mountain and it might be dangerous to climb it from the north. I therefore recommend to park your car or walk in the near of N 028.02.600, W 016.42.360. Follow the track from there to the mountain top. It is a beautiful hike at approximately 4,2 km.
The mountain has two tops. You will find the highest peak at about 435 meters above the sea. Be aware though, that it is the lowest peak that has the most beautiful view.
I have moved cachen a bit, and changed the hint that it should be easier to find.
I named the cache after a moutain at my birthplace in North Norway. If you want to climb the original Sepmola you have to start at sealevel. You will reach the mountain top at 1350 meters above the sea. It is a somewhat bigger challenge than climbing Montãna de Guaza in Tenerife.
I checked the Internet and found that there is no cahce on the original Sepmola, so i think I might have a mission...
It is no longer the case! Now I have hidden the cache on the real Sepmola in Ballangen in northern Norway. Then there will be a challenge and also visit it. Sepmola is about 1500 meters high, and to visit the cache, you need at least 7 hours.
The name is: Sepmola There are many nice pictures !!
