This is my favorite rest stop between Cranbrook and Kelowna. It is just above Christina Lake and has the most amazing trees. The two rating is for any GPS problems relating to the big trees.
I was traveling back from Kelowna with a group of Scouters and said that I always thought this rest area should have a cache. And so the idea was born. We had a cache box in the car that need a place to be put. It is a great area. When the kids were little we stopped here often for a run through the trees.
The cache is a small camo lock 'n lock with all sorts of odds and sods in it. Everyone contributed something. Please remember to leave something if you take something. That way everyone gets to have fun when they look inside.
