  La tradizione vuole che al suono del Campanone, presente sul campanile d'ogni borgo, tutti abbandonassero le proprie abitazioni e, opportunamente armati di roncole, tridenti e simili, corressero nella piazza principale e così uniti, difendere il proprio territorio.
ll "Campanone della Brianza" suonava a distesa quando c'era un pericolo. Posto in una massiccia torre quadrata di 23 metri di altezza il "Campanone" si trova in cima al Monte di Brianza (m. 627) ed è oggi il simbolo della Brianza stessa. E' per la posizione di questa campana che quando nel 1927 venne costituito il comune (unendo quelli di Cagliano, Ravellino e Nava) si scelse il nome di Colle Brianza.

Il cache non è nascosto vicino al campanone essendo questo una proprietà privata è irraggiungibile. Dal cache si può ammirare da lontano.

  

Tradition requires that at the sound of Campanone, on the bell of every village,  people  drove from their homes and, suitably armed with bill-hooks, tridents and something like that, run through the main square, and so united, defend their territory.
ll "Campanone of Brianza" rang a full peal when there was a danger. Set in a massive square tower 23 meters high, the "Campanone is located on top of the Monte di Brianza (m. 627) and today is the symbol of the Brianza too. It's for the location of this bell that on 1927 when the town was founded (combining those of Cagliano,  Nava and Ravellino) it was chosen the name of Colle Brianza.
The cache is not hidden near the Campanone because it's a private property and for this reason inaccessible. Since the cache can be admired from afar.
