Freedompass hunter: We've archived this as it's disappeared following tree work. There are plans, sadly, to turn this area into a parking lot. We'll wait a while and see what happens and then put another not too far away.

This cache is placed at the side of a footpath which runs for a short distance along Beverley Brook just up stream from Beverley Park. The path is lit and has a hard surface and although it is always accessible you may encounter furry creatures at night. There is no fence between the path and the brook. If you avoid the school run time there is parking at N51 24.039 W00 14.819
Beverley Brook (named after the beavers who once lived here) is just over 14 miles long and rises in Cuddington Recreation Park in Worcester Park. It flows through Motspur Park and is often hidden behind houses and under suburban streets until it reaches Beverley Park. After this it become more accessible as it flows along the edge of Wimbledon Common, through Richmond Park and eventually joins the Thames to the east of Barnes. At the cache point the Brook runs behind the back gardens in Onslow Road. It then turns and runs between Beverley Road and Rookwood Avenue. You can see the Brook as it disappears under Burlington Road and emerges briefly on the other side of the road before going under the A3 The cache is a small camouflaged container on the opposite side of the path from the Brook. It contains a logbook and pencil as well as some small swaps. Please replace it carefully so that it is well hidden.
