This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there has been no response from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area.

If the cache owner addresses the issues that lead to archival and contacts me within a reasonable period of time (6-8 weeks), it may be possible to unarchive the cache.
Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Camo'd 35 MM Film canister - Attached to each log is some interesting information about the year for which the cache is named. Perhaps you too can remember something exciting from that year and add it to your log…. And if you were too young (or not yet born) add some history that you do know about that year to your logs.

This portion of the trail starts at Camino Ruiz Community Park "WalkNcache: 1983" and ends at Lopez Ridge Park "WalkNcache: 1990"

There are two caches within the park itself - check them out while you are here.

1983: I get my Single Engine Pilots lic... trained in Piper Tomahawk, moved up to Piper Archer II, then the big boy for me, Piper Arrow - wow, loved flying.

It’s good for the heart, body, mind, and soul to get out in the clean air and walk. These series of caches are intended for just that – getting you off the couch and out walking for caches. They are easy finds, so beginners will have fun, so will kids, and for us experienced cachers, another excuse to walk for the numbers.

Congrats to Funky Munk for being FTF
