Camo'd Rx canister - Perhaps you too can remember something exciting from that year and add it to your log…. And if you were too young (or not yet born) add some history that you do know about that year to your logs.
1989: I had really expanded my SCUBA diving. By 1989 I had already reached Divemaster status and Dive mastered boats out of San Diego, Santa Barbra, and Long Beach. My Dive mastering let me visit each and every Channel Island – some several time. Underwater Photo also became a specialty for me where I won the PCUPC U/W Marine Life Photo contest in 1990 – but getting ahead of myself. This is also the year I became a NAUI Certified SCUBA Instructor – I end up certifying over 1,000 divers before I hung up my dive instructor status in 2001.
Next cache will be C&D: Celebrations
It’s good for the heart, body, mind, and soul to get out in the clean air and walk. These series of caches are intended for just that – getting you off the couch and out walking for caches. They are easy finds, so beginners will have fun, so will kids, and for us experienced cachers, another excuse to walk for the numbers.
Congrats to Duncan! for being FTF
