Det är osäkert var detta torp har legat. Troligen ca 150 meter söder om Sandareds fotbollsplan. Här finns stenmurar och runtomkring mark som visar att det en gång har varit uppodlat. Från mitten av 1830-talet kallas Nygårdstorp för backstuga. Det var bebott i början av 1790-talet av Ingel Månsson och hans hustru Anna Jönsdotter. De hade gift sig 1771 och fick åtta barn varav tre dog tidigt. Familjen bodde i Nygårdstorp fram till hustruns död 1795. Cathrina Jönsdotter var den sista boende på Nygårdstorp. Hon lämnade 1852 och blev inhyses i Skärkhults Hage. It is uncertain where this croft has been located. Presumably about 150 meters south from Sandareds football field. Here are some stone walls and land that shows it has once been cultivated. From mid 1830 Nygårdstorp is mentioned as a croft. It was inhabitated from the beginning of 1790 by Ingel Månsson and his wife Anna Jönsdotter. They had got married in 1771 and had eight children of whom three died in a young age. The family lived in Nygårdstorp until the wife died 1795. Cathrina Jönsdotter was the last one living at Nygårdstorp. She left 1852 to live as a lodger at Skärkhults Hage.
