Vi fortsätter vår cacheserie med besök på gamla boplatser i Sandared. Butorpet var beläget på utmarken norr om Sandared vid en skogsväg från Svarvhult mot Mölnebackasjön. Fortfarande kan man se rester av grunden.
Här bodde Johannes Larsson som 1864 gift sig med Kristina Andersdotter. De fick fyra barn. 1896 flyttade de till Borås. De var de enda som bodde på Butorpet. Johannes Larsson arbetade som dräng i Götebacka men blev 1869 dömd av Marks Häradsrätt för första resan stöld med inbrott. Domen blev två års straffarbete samt vara förlustig medborgerligt förtroende i åtta år. De sista åren bodde familjen inhyses i Kristinas föräldrahem i Götebacka.
We continue our cache series about old habitats in Sandared. Butorpet was located on the outlying land north of Sandared close to a forest road leading to “Mölnebacka lake”. You can still se the remains of the foundation.
Here lived Johannes Larsson who got married Kristina Andersdotter in 1864. They had four children. 1896 they moved to Borås. They were the only ones living at Butorpet. Johannes Larsson was working as a farm-hand at Götebacka but was sentenced in 1869 by Marks Häradsrätt for stealing. The verdict was two years of hard labour and the loss of civil rights for eight years. The family spent their last years as dependent lodgers at Kristinas parental home in Götebacka.
