The Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Interpretative Trail and The Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Interpretative Trail and Visitor Center is located in Nebraska City, NE. It opened on July 30, 2004 and its focus is on the flora and fauna discovered by Lewis and Clark and then sent back to Pres. Thomas Jefferson.

The Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Interpretative Trail and Visitor Center is located in Nebraska City, NE. It opened on July 30, 2004 and its focus is on the flora and fauna discovered by Lewis and Clark and then sent back to Pres. Thomas Jefferson. It is open year around with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. The entire center is self guided and interactive for children and adult alike. There are three floors of exhibits including a 32 minute movie called: “The Great Journey West”. Hours are posted or call the center to ask at 402-874-9900. The cache is a magnetic key holder with log. Bring your own pencil.
