Flight of the avroair Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Park at the entrance of the unlocked/open gated, gravel road just south of Pascoe RD or drive in the right of way to the towers as the hunters and hikers do. Other approaches are available. Open woods with water crossing.
The Avro Lancaster, a British bomber known for its night time bombing raids during WWII, is the inspiration for the name "avroair," a user name of a North NJ cacher. Avroair has provided the caching community with creative and unique caches and is most noted for his outstanding events .The site I have chosen to honor him with is creative in its location and in the area around the cache, which sees lots of flight from the varitey of birds that use the wetlands as a nest and feeding site. Once close to gz, you will see where you need to go and how you need to get there. Please rehide as area sees muggles from time to time. Ratings may change depending on water conditions and your sense of adventure.
Mark (avroair), Rose and Gillian have left NJ for Washington State. Thanks for all you both have done for caching in North NJ. You will be missed. TQ
