Geocache Description:

Here, the Similkameen River flows through a narrow canyon and a series of rapids known as Similkameen Falls. Very few people know about this, what I consider the best natural feature along the length of the river. A great place to view the rapids is from the top of the canyon. Parking is at the side of the road, only park when traveling east bound, the parking is on a bend in the highway and it would be dangerous to cross on the bend.
The cache is about 200 yards from the highway over flat but natural ground in a bushy area with old rusty cans covering the cache. The cache, A camo mayo container, contains a variety of trade items including a brand new geocoin for the FTF.
After visiting the cache, walk over to the edge of the canyon and look down at the roaring rapids below, but watch your step, no guard rails here, keep a tight reign on any kiddies.
Parking for the cache is about 8km from Eastgate entrance to Manning Park
