Local Heroes Multi-Cache
o'cholio: After careful consideration of new hiding spots in this most appropriate of locations, and realising the distinct lack of them, we've decided to let this one go. Thank you to everybody who solved the multi and visited this spot.

This multicache will take you around some of the various memorials placed to commemorate those men from Camperdown who went away and never came back.
It is only fitting that this cache has been placed on Anzac Day. On this day we stop to remember those who made the supreme sacrifice to preserve the liberties that we still enjoy today. If you take a drive around any part of the country in this or any other part of Australia, in nearly every town and settlement you will find a monument to honour those who served and those who fell. Many of the smaller towns ceased to exist as a result of the devastation the First and Second World Wars wrought on the population. Fortunately, Camperdown didn't quite suffer this fate, and you will experience part of this historic town while gathering the clues for the cache. To find the location of the cache, you will need to gather some information from both the given coordinates and WP1, and do some simple calculations. At the initial coords, refer to the date (ie day of the month) on which the soldier passed away in 1900. Answer = A. At WP1, refer to the smallest and most recent plaque at the lowest point on the memorial. Refer to the first six-letter word in the name of the statue, and convert it using the standard letters to numbers format (ie A=1, B=2, etc): it is equal to BCDEFG. The cache can be found at S38 13.((A*34)-3), E143 08.(E/2)(G/10)(C/8), and is a mints container containing a log and pencil, so there isn't any room for swaps. Make sure the cache is invisible, but accessible, when you replace it! If you have time, stop and reflect at the landmark on the way to GZ. "Lest We Forget" *** FTF honours go to: maccamob ***
