The pleasant streamside pathway, also known as Bibaloe Walk, was
formed when the Douglas to Laxey Road was built in the
1800's,severing it from Bibaloe Farm of which is was once a
part.
It is possible to park near to the cache but as it is a bus stop
at the end of a farm lane on a busy road, it is much better to park
at the given co-ordinates and enjoy the short stroll through the
glen.
Please be aware that the end of the walk emerges onto a busy
road so it is advisable to put geohounds on leads and keep a close
eye on small cachers.
The cache is a 35mm film canister sized container which contains
a log book, mini pencil and a 'FTF' badge for the first to
find.
Whilst in the area why not try visiting two nearby cache's in
the lovely Molly Quirk's Glen 'Molly put the kettle on' and 'Visit
Molly Quirks glen', you may even catch sight of Molly herself. The
glen is reputedly named after a woman, Molly Quirk, who was known
locally to have quite a lot of money and who was robbed and
murdered in this glen. This tale naturally gives rise to sightings
of her ghost, which is said to wander the glen.
