Please note that this cache will be archived
as of September 26, 2010 to make room for new caches at the
“Caching at the Wetlands Event” on September 26th.
This cache is part of the 2009 Huron House Boys' Home series. We
hope geocachers will enjoy the wetlands and learn about both of
these valuable community resources. Please replace carefully Did
you know….? The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has
planted over 2.7 million trees since 1980. The McKenzie and Blundy
Memorial Forest was established in 1988. Through donations from the
funeral home and from individuals, trees are planted as living
memorials. The St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation operates
four memorial forests. This program has proven to be an excellent
way to plant trees and to increase the awareness by the public of
the crucial need for green space. The final cache is not at the
above posted co-ordinates. Good luck finding the three micro-sized
clues, all found at the first stage to reach the final.
