Geocache Description:

The co-ords are the general area - no need to swim.

You will need to do your home work before attempting this one.

Woodybank Viaduct (also known as Dowdeswell Viaduct) was on the old Midland and South Western Junction Railway. This railway was taken up in the early 1960's and the viaduct was demolished shortly after. The viaduct used to look over the Dowdeswell Reservoir. There is a photo in the cache (please can you leave the photo in the cache for others to see)

You will need to answer the following questions to find the cache site.

Q1: What date was the Viaduct demolished? AB/CD/19EF
Q2: How many spans/arches did it have? GH
Q3: How long was the viaduct in feet? IJK

Cache site:
N51 (I)(H).(I+J)(G)(D) W00(E-D) (B)(C).(A-H)(G+K)(F+G)

If you collect the clues from the nearby caches, I suggest you approach this one from Dowdeswell - River Chelt. There is no need for a long walk up the busy A40
