Das ist der 7. Cache aus der Lemgower Cache Serie und führt euch ins Dorf Schmarsau der Gemeinde Lemgow. Insgesamt gibt es 12 Lemgower Caches und einen Lemgower-13-Final Cache, der nur durch die Hinweise aus allen 12 Caches gefunden werden kann. Die Cache Serie ist so ausgelegt, dass sie optimal mit dem Fahrrad gefahren werden kann. Sie ist in der Reihenfolge der Nummerierung abzuarbeiten und die Gesamtstrecke für alle Caches ist etwa 32 km. Jeder Cache kann für sich alleine abgearbeitet werden.
Der Name Schmarsau kann als Ort, an dem es Morcheln gibt übersetzt werden. Die Erbzinskrugstelle ist eine der ältesten Gaststätten im Lemgow und wurde nach dem Großbrand am 5. November 1849 wieder aufgebaut. Im 19. Jahrhundert gab es einige Brände in Schmarsau.

This is the 7th cache of the Lemgower Cache Series and will guide you to the village Schmarsau of the community Lemgow. The Lemgower Cache Series has got 12 caches and the final Lemgower-13-Final cache. First you have to solve the 12 caches before you can get the final cache. Every cache of the series contains a tip for the final Cache. The Lemgower Cache Series can be done by bicycle and the distance is nearly 32 km. It makes sense to follow the numbering of the cache (starting at 1 and ending at 12). But every cache can be done alone.
The meaning of the name Schmarsau is the place where are growing morels. One of the oldest pubs of the community Lemgow is the pub in Schmarsau. It is rebuild after the major fire at November the 5th in 1849. In the 19th century there were several fires in Schmarsau.
